Hi, my name is Beth Shaw. I started doing my jewelry because I had seizures and I couldn’t do anything else. I was about 4 years old when I started making stuff. My mom bought me a lot of beads on holidays. My grandma and I made a lot of different stuff as I grew up. In school my favorite subject was art. In high school I took retailing in Boces, to own business, after i had a family I made it our family business. My kids help out and so does my mother who lives with us as we care for her. I’ve been an artist almost all my life. I remember starting to really make things when I was 4. My grandmother and daughter inspire me daily
